Editorial and submissions policy

What we publish

We feature public events, whether admission is free, ticketed or by donation. An event can require public registration. Private family gatherings are excluded. The gateway imports the provincial calendars’ approved public listings, never pending submissions or submitter contact details.

Verification and corrections

Listings retain their original source links and verification dates. That date records the last editorial source check, not a live guarantee. Loading a calendar does not reverify an event. Official event titles are preserved; supporting text is available in English and French.

We do not invent missing prices, times, venues, languages or cancellation status. Unknown prices are excluded from the Free filter. Date ranges may cover an exhibition, series or festival with specific opening days; always check the organizer’s schedule. Expired listings are hidden. Recurring dates are used only when explicitly supplied by a provincial calendar.

Suggestions are checked against supplied or public sources before approval. Unverified submissions are withheld. Send corrections and cancellation notices with evidence to info@smurphy.ai. We do not promise publication, search rankings or advertising approval.
